Flower petals, leaves, even plant stems are sometimes surprisingly beautiful up very close. Some have very attractive textures or patterns that aren’t noticeable from afar. Up close, flower petals can look lush and velvety, or shimmer and sparkle as if they have been sprinkled with millions of tiny crystals! Nature is full of amazingly perfect patterns too, especially in plants, and especially when you are admiring them up very close. And don’t even get me started on how cool insects look if you get the chance to examine them up close! I love to try to capture some of this beauty in my own garden!
